In addition to his accomplishments as a businessman, he served as a State 参议员 for nine years. His passion for public service led him to advocate tirelessly for the rights and well-being of his constituents. 参议员 Sledge’s leadership and integrity garnered widespread recognition during his tenure as a senator.
参议员 Sledge was a lifelong learner who treasured education. He graduated from Cleveland High School before attending Culver Military Academy and Delta State Teachers College. These formative years instilled in him a thirst for knowledge that he carried throughout his life.
